Holy Cross Church, Durley

Holy Cross is a family of people who meet within the church building to worship God. We are a supportive, caring, friendly group. We believe God is real and with us. Our worship is varied; some services are traditional, some are more modern. We have lively Family Services with activities for the children. We believe our faith is more than just church on Sunday; We try to live it every day of the week too. But we aren't all 'good' people. We all have our faults and weaknesses. Some of us are believers, some are seekers, some are inquirers. We welcome people from all faith backgrounds and from none. You are welcome to join us at 9.45 a.m. on Sunday mornings whether you are a believer, a seeker or just plain inquisitive! We would love to see you.

Children of all ages are welcome at Durley Church, especially at the Family Services and at Family Communion. We enjoy having them with us and don't mind at all if they are restless or play with their toys during the service. We have play bags containing toys and books which they can borrow in church, and lots of toys at the back of the church to play with.

The monthly Family Service involves the children as well as the adults and is a happy and lively occasion. During the Family Communion service the children go out during part of the service to Sunday Club. Here they enjoy games and activities which teach them more about the Christian faith - and they have lots of fun too.
